PRO 12, Tambler, General Santos City- In a Tuesday afternoon of February 26, 2019, Key officers of Police Regional Office (PRO)12 and Joint Task Force (JTF) “Central”, AFP assembled at PRO 12 Multipurpose hall, Tambler General Santos City for the signing of the Joint Implementation Plan (IMPLAN) on AFP-PNP Campaign Plan “KAPANATAGAN” 2019-2022.
Police Brigadier General ELISEO TAM RASCO, Regional Director, PRO12 and Major General CIRILITO E SOBEJANA, Commander, Joint Task Force (JTF) “Central”, AFP co-signed the joint IMPLAN.
The said IMPLAN is a broad plan that shall guide the AFP and PNP in providing guidelines and delineation of authority while performing their mandated tasks to promote peace, ensure security and support the overall development initiatives of the government towards inclusive growth.
Ultimately, The AFP-PNP Joint IMPLAN serves as a foundation to harmonize the effort of two security forces in attaining a peaceful environment wherein all threat groups are defeated, criminalities are suppressed, communities are secured, government institutions are able to function effectively and efficiently in accordance to their mandates and both parties have significantly contributed to the development efforts of the government.
With the advent of the Campaign Plan “KAPANATAGAN”, PRO 12 and JTF “Central” brings forth a harmonized approach wherein, together they will conduct joint security, peace and order and development support operations to defeat all threat groups and criminal elements, ensure security and maintain public safety in order to contribute to socio-politico-economic progress of the people in Region 12 with the active support of other government agencies, NGO’s and other stakeholders.
