Four (4) Arrested for Illegal Possession of Drugs, FA’s, and Ammo’s in Sarangani

Backed by 18 Search Warrants, the team composed of RPDEU 12, RMFB 12, Sarangani Provincial Mobile Force Company, Malapatan MPS, RHS 12, Regional Crime Laboratory, General Santos City in coordination with PDEA 12 arrested four (4) suspects and recovered illegal drugs, firearms , and ammunitions during law enforcement operation in Brgy. Lun Padidu and Sapu Masla, in Malapatan town, Sarangani Province at 2:30 A.M. today, February 9, 2018.

Search Warrants were implemented for Violations of RA 9165, RA 10591 and RA 9516 against suspects Rene Unos Kamid, Napia Unos Kamid, Jannette Orquillas, Al Sambaga and Rakib Morid

Two of the suspects Al Sambaga and Rakib Morib suffered gunshot wounds and rushed to the hospital for medical attention when a firefight ensued when the suspects fired their firearms to the raiding team that prompted the latter to retaliate.

Recovered from Sambaga possession and control were one (1) unit Caliber 38 revolver, several sachets of suspected shabu and one (1) piece hand grenade

The team also recovered from Morib’s possession and control, one (1) unit Caliber and assorted sachets of suspected shabu.

At a separate search, the team recovered one (1) unit Caliber 45 Thomson submachine gun and live ammunition at the house of Rene Unos Kamid.
The searched at the house Jannette Orquillas Taib and Napia Unos Kamid who were included in the search warrant yielded negative result.

Meanwhile, as the search continued at the area, the team recovered one (1) unit 12 gauge shotgun from the possession of Misuari Dalgan Taib which is temporarily held and pending for firearm verification.

PCSupt Marcelo C Morales is very confident to accomplish more on the PNP’s anti-criminality campaign in Region.

“We are currently on our stricter implementation of laws, and we intensify the conduct of law enforcement operations against criminalities especially drug related activities all over the region.” Morales said.
