Police Regional Office 12 celebrated the 27th Foundation Day Anniversary today at PRO12 Grandstand rekindling the hearts of deserving personnel excelled in their area of responsibility thru giving of medals that highlighted the event.
The Celebration started with the wreath laying at the PRO12 Memorial Park as also a part of commemorating the unwavering gallantry, immense courage, and heroism of noble and unsung heroes of Police Regional Office 12.
Sarangani Province Governor Steve Chongbian Solon, the Guest of Honor and Speaker, said that he did not forget the PNP in Region 12.
He also stressed out the importance of every PNP personnel of Region 12 for their invaluable service in the community particularly on its operational accomplishments on illegal drugs, for the heroic deeds they manifested, the risks that PNP members face when serving warrants, their bravery, dedication and courage in facing the raging bullets of enemies in the battlefield, and their strong faith and incredible desire to help the public.
On his final note, he said, “bring the highest level of dignity to your uniform, your country, your president and the people are behind you all the way.” Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God and honor the King”
The Governor, assisted by the PRO12 Regional Director PCSUPT MARCELO C MORALES, PCSUPT JOSE ARNALDO BRIONES JR, DRDA, PSSUPT JOHNSON ALMAZAN, DRDO and PSUPT JAIME C SERIÑA III, Regional Chaplain, presented the medals to the awardees.

NUP Liza M Bunda, NUP Cherry P Gallego, and NUP Juliet L Boja were the three Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) who were awarded with Medalya Ng Kasanayan (PNP Effeciency Medal)
Meanwhile, PRO 12 recognized and appreciated individuals from Local Government Units, academe, Regional Advisory Council 12, and private sector thru giving Plaques of recognition for their invaluable supports to the PNP PRO12 in sustaining peace and order and on its anti-criminality campaign in the region. They were Hon Mayor. Victor James B. Yap of Glan, Sarangani Province, Hon. Mayor Joseph A Evangelista of Kidapawan City, Cotabato province, Hon Agustin Dema-Ala, Sanggunian Panlalawigan Member of South Cotabato Province, Mr. Hafez B Ampatuan, Chairman, KARANCHO Incorporated (Cotabato Chapter), Dr. Gregorio Warren Manilay MNSA, Acting Chairman, Regional Advisory Council 12, and Ms. Lalaine Villaruel Suhanda, Member, RAC 12.
A full-dress parade and review ceremony accented with colorful T’boli-Malong sash, red scarves, and hand-woven T’nalak Cloth and Brass Belt capped the ceremony.
PRO12 celebrates PNP Day on its 27 years of enforcing the law, preventing and controlling crimes, maintaining peace and order, and ensuring public safety and security, striving to serve the community better that requires the active support of the community, especially on its very challenging role to prevent the proliferation of drugs in the country today.
The momentous celebration of the 27th PNP day foundation anniversary enticed all men and women of PRO12 towards a one direction with one goal of achieving the fulfillment of PNP’s mission and vision.
